Hypnotherapy can be described as a process whereby the individual is guided towards a state of total relaxation in which both body and mind are deeply relaxed.  This enables the individual to access their subconscious mind, where past experiences, thoughts and behaviour patterns are stored.  Working with the subconscious to replace deeply held negative beliefs, feelings and habits with new ideas and positive changes in an individual's thoughts and behaviour.
